Growing up poor in Oklahoma, living in an aluminum-clad tornado target can teach you a lot. For Nolan Burris, his trailer park beginnings were the perfect start of a life filled with adventure and exploration. Today, Nolan is an author, former travel agent, failed musician and self-professed techno-geek.
Nolan is also the founder and Chief Visioneer of Visionistics, based in Vancouver, Canada. He came to Vancouver during the dot-com boom to serve as Vice President of Information Technologies for a global travel franchise.
Still a “proud geek,” Nolan thinks that while technology is critically important, you should master it , instead of it mastering you. He formed Visionistics with the idea that if you can change the way business works, you’ll change the world. His goal is to spread the magic of ethics, integrity and human compassion to a techno-driven world.
Nolan has spoken to groups ranging from intimate gatherings, to crowds in the thousands. He has worked with companies and addressed audiences around the world with his simple, but effective approach to personal and professional success.
