Growing up in Oklahoma, poor and living in an aluminum-clad tornado target can teach you a lot. For Nolan Burris it was the perfect beginning of a life filled with adventure and exploration. Today, Nolan is an author, former travel agent, failed musician and self-professed techno-geek.
He is also the founder and Chief Visioneer of Visionistics Enterprises based in Vancouver, Canada. He came to Vancouver during the dot-com boom to serve as Vice President of Information Technologies for a global travel franchise.
Still a “proud geek,” Nolan thinks that while technology is critically important, you should master it , instead of it mastering you. He formed Visionistics with the belief that if you can change the way business works, you’ll change the world. His goal is to spread the magic of ethics and human compassion to a techno-driven world.
